Do all companies have Certified Arborist onboard? No. Surprisingly, certification is voluntary in Kentucky. There are no qualifying educational boundaries to prevent individuals from purporting to be ready to operate a tree service business. That's right! Anyone can advertise and profess to be available to service your trees. Anyone.
Sound right to you? We at Dave's Tree Surgeons don't think so. When confronted with these facts most people don't believe it is appropriate either. Would anyone go to a Doctor with no education in medicine? Would you call a plumber or electrician with no proficient education or training in their field of work? Fortunately, many reputable companies exist with Certified Arborist onboard ready to help people properly address their tree care needs.
Consumers should insist on utilizing Certified Arborist for the care of their trees. Certified Arborist's carry identification cards supporting their achievement. Don't be afraid to ask to see appropriate identification and certainly be wary of anyone who says they are certified, but fails to provide proof.
